Meet The Doctors
Dr. Chavez truly believes his purpose is to provide the highest quality dental care possible and to educate his patients on the personal benefits of being in optimal dental health. His fulfilling achievements and interests are in family general dentistry including routine preventive care for adults and children of all ages, cosmetic/esthetics, restorative, fillings, endodontic and repairative treatment. His reward comes from seeing his patients over the last 30 years be in comfort, proudly displaying a radiant smile, as well as having the ability to maintain their own dental health.
Dr. Chavez stays up - to - date with the latest techniques in all aspects of dentistry. He has taken extensive post graduate continuing education courses on Invisalign (orthodontic), Mini-Implants, and Cosmetic Procedures including Non-Mercury Fillings, Endodontic Therapy, and Comprehensive Treatment Planning. Born in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood (high school class of 1970) he received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Northridge located in the lush, subtropical San Fernando Valley in the field of Environmental Health Science (class of 1975). He moved to Seattle in 1975 to attend the University of Washington where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1979. He has had his own private practice since 1981 and has been in the same dental office serving his community of friends since 1982. He is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association (ADA), Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Association.
Dr. Chavez gives much of the credit for 26 years of loyal patient following to his fine staff for finding convenient appointment times and for providing soothing comfort during treatment. Dr. Chavez and the entire staff have volunteered a day near Valentine’s Day every year for the past 21 years to provide dental care at no charge to men, women, and children in need of dentistry who have no means to pay. Dr. Chavez also works closely with many dental insurance companies at a reduced fee so his patients can have the dental care they deserve, need, and desire.
Dr. Chavez has been married to his wife Carrie for 19 years and they have 4 terrific children; Carly, Mitchell, and twin boys Jonathan and Benjamin. He attends Mars Hill Church and has other outside interests that include family vacations, tennis, perfecting his Spanish, guitar, piano, movies, coaching little league. Dr. Chavez is very friendly, enjoys making new friends and looks forward to meeting you.

Dr. Mosquera
Dr. Betsy R. Mosquera is originally from Colombia , South America. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) in her country and worked as a general dentist for two years before moving to the United States . Dr. Mosquera graduated from the St. Louis, University Center of Advance Dental education with a certificate in Periodontics and Dental implants as well as a Masters in Dental Science. Before settling in Seattle , she lived in various cities such New York, St. Louis and Chicago . She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodotology (AAP) and a member of the American Dental Association (ADA). Washington State Dental Association (WSDA) and Seattle King County Dental Association (SKCDA). Dr. Mosquera has 13 years experience in dentistry of which 7 have been focused on periodontics and dental implants. She is fluent in Spanish and English and enjoys movies, dancing and of course, drinking Columbia coffee.

FUN FACT: I use to cry alot when I was a baby, ask me what my nanny did to calm me down.
